Stephen has an impressive 40 years of experience in the wealth management and financial services sectors. Stephen has been a statutory director in two previous financial services firms and brings a wealth of experience to PHW. His strong reputation and knowledge spans across all aspects of financial planning, from retirement strategies and business succession planning to investment management and estate planning. Stephen is renowned for his clear, strategic thinking and his ability to guide clients through the complexities of tax-efficient wealth management.
Stephen is a Chartered Insurer with the Chartered Insurance Institute and is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Outside of work, Stephen serves as a Board of Governor for a local grammar school, a trustee of the General Investment Fund of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, and is an elder in his local church.
His leadership extends beyond business matters. Being a keen sportsman, he has previously captained Ireland's Cricket team and was the first to win over 100 caps for his country. Stephen also played senior rugby and is a competitive golfer, being a member of Royal Portrush. Stephen is married to Karen and has three grown-up children.
